The 2009 Oscars has apparently given Robert Pattinson a new friend, Hugh Jackman. The British heartthrob, who presented at this year’s Academy Awards, and the Australian actor, who hosted the awards show, shared a late-night karaoke session at a bar in Tokyo this week, reports E! Online.

Robert has been in the Japanese capital for the “Twilight” premiere, while Hugh was attending the premiere of “Australia”. “They went after doing press for their films,” E! quoted a source as saying.

And a rep for Hugh says, “Hugh was there celebrating completion of his promo tour for Australia with director Baz Luhrmann and friends and the fact that the film is just going over $200 million box-office worldwide!” The rep adds, “About 1a.m., the cast of Twilight came in and they all joined in.”

It seems that Miley Cyrus can’t be separated from special friend Justin Gaston. The twosome were spotted spending their beautiful morning bicycling around Toluca Lake on Friday, February 27.

Enjoying the morning date together, Miley and Justin looked very happy as they flashed their smile at photographers. The happy duo later met Miley’s dad Billy Ray Cyrus, waiting with the family dogs, while arriving back at the Cyrus home.

Chris Brown and Rihanna are said to be back together. A source tells People that the 19-year-old singer and the 21-year-old beauty have reunited almost three weeks after he allegedly attacked her on February 8.

Chris and Rihanna, according to People, are currently spending time together at one of fellow singer P. Diddy’s homes. “They’re together again. They care for each other,” reveals the source. “While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”

In the latest issue of People, it’s also reported that Chris called Rihanna on her 21st birthday (February 20). “He called to wish her happy birthday,” a source told the magazine. “They’ve reached out to each other. It’s been mutual.”

Country singing sensation Taylor Swift appears in a new PSA about protecting your hearing. In the beginning of the video, the 19-year-old singer is seen playing her guitar. “As a recording artist, it’s pretty imperative that I have good hearing,” she says. “I need to hear every note clearly.”

The former girlfriend of Jonas Brothers’ lead singer Joe Jonas continues, “Taking care of your hearing isn’t hard, it just takes a little common sense.” She adds, “So, don’t lose the music, listen responsibly – Sound matters.”

In another Taylor Swift news, the country singer has praised famous couple Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, calling them the “most down to earth couple in country music”. The “Love Story” songstress said, “Nicole Kidman will hug you and look you in the eye, and you can tell she’s so engaged in the conversation and listening to you, and Keith will come up to you and talk to you.”

Brad Pitt might have lost out on the Best Actor Oscar on Sunday, February 22, but he still has a reason to smile. The 45-year-old actor has reportedly been sent a solid chocolate bust in his likeness as a consolation prize from deodorant brand Axe.

Brad was nominated for Best Actor at the 2009 Oscars for his role in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”. But the longtime partner of Angelina Jolie lost out to Sean Penn, who was awarded for his portrayal of gay rights activist Harvey Milk in “Milk”.

And bosses at Axe, in an attempt to promote their new Dark Temptation fragrance
, decided to reward Brad with a statuette of his own in chocolate weighing 10 pounds (4.5 kilograms). “We still feel your performance deserves a statue, one that’s a bit sweeter,” an accompanying note read.
