What happens in Vegas only stays in Vegas if you aren’t a rich, attention-seeking socialite that lacks the skill set to get noticed for any reason aside from getting drunk and getting photographed.

In other words: Khloe Kardashian celebrated her 25th birthday in Sin City this week and proceeded to post the photos from it on her blog.

“We literally had the best time ever!!! Kim who never drinks had two shots of Patron to celebrate and she was SO funny!!! I loved it!” wrote the birthday gal.

Michael Jackson’s death is sad, and it is tragic.

It is not, however, something that should traumatize his fans, nor is this the end of the world. The Rev. Jesse Jackson says this and we have to agree.

Amid reports that distraught fans of Michael are becoming suicidal, the friend of the music icon is urging fans to get it together and “keep hope alive.”

“This is a time when hearts are heavy. There is great pain but great cause to celebrate Michael’s life,” Jesse Jackson says. “It made Michael happy saying ‘We Are the World.’ Don’t self destruct. We fall down sometimes, we get back up.”

“That’s the right thing to do. In Michael Jackson’s name, let’s live together as brothers and sisters and not die apart as fools.”

MJ’S LEGACY: Michael Jackson is survived by the children he raised (Arnold Klein was the biological father). Jesse Jackson wants us to honor the star, not kill ourselves.

According to the U.K.’s Sky News and Gary Taylor, president and owner of the fansite MJJCommunity, at least 12 ardent fans have committed or attempted suicide in the aftermath of the superstar’s death at age 50 on Thursday afternoon.

Pavel Talalayev, a Russian MJ impersonator who underwent plastic surgery to look like his idol, was among the first to attempt to take his own life.

The Barcelona Reporter is reporting an additional fan death in Tunisia.

Jesse Jackson’s Message to Michael Jackson Fans

Mariah Carey is out for revenge against Eminem.

Dressing up in drag as the rapper while filming the music video for her song “Obsessed” in New York City, the singer took their feud to a new level.

The Mariah Carey tune’s lyrics include this line:

“You’re so lame. Ooh boy, why you so obsessed with me? Ohh finally found a girl you couldn’t impress / Last man on the earth / still couldn’t get this.”

Ohh, snap. We have to say, her costume designer did one heck of a job.

Mariah Carey channels her inner Eminem. It’s a pretty accurate depiction.

This is in response to when Eminem rapped about Mariah Carey – who he has said he briefly dated in 2001 – in his song “Bagpipes From Baghdad.”

In that song, Eminem raps, “Mariah whatever happened to us. Why did we ever have to break-up? Nick Cannon, you better back the f**k up. I’m not playing, I want her back, you punk … I wish you luck with that … wh*re!”

Those lyrics prompted Carey’s husband Nick Cannon to respond: “What type of grown… man lies about getting with a chick? Only Slim Lamey! LOL!”

Bet Eminem is still stinging inside and lying awake at night replaying that retort. He did admit later that he went too far in that song, at least. 

While the buzz for New Moon is just starting to reach a fevered pitch – via a trailer, set photos and movie stills – it’s never too early to hype the next installment in the Twilight Saga franchise.

We can confirm that Eclipse will be released in theaters on June 30, 2010.

Filming will take place in Vancouver and run from August 17 until October 31. Look for David Slade to direct the drama.

A two-time champion on the dance floor, Cheryl Burke has finally succeeded at love.

The Dancing with the Stars professional gushed about her new boyfriend to People this week. She referred to Maxwell Zagorski (pictured) as a “great influence in [my] life.”

“He loves to go to the gym and he motivates me, so it’s a good relationship we have!” Burke said at  Ivy Bethune Tri-Union Diversity Awards in Los Angeles, where she was an honoree. “He’s a model and so he needs to keep his body in shape, as well.”

How do they spend most of their time?

“We’re just homebodies,” Burke said. “We like to watch movies. I like to stay at home. He loves to cook. And we just watch movies and we eat at home.
