Arnold Klein: Biological Father of Michael Jackson’s Children

Michael Jackson used to be married to Debbie Rowe, but neither were the biological parents of the singer’s first two children, Michael Jr., 12, and Paris, 11.

Their father is Arnold Klein, Jackson’s L.A.-based dermatologist and Rowe’s former boss, multiple sources confirm to celebrity gossip magazine Us Weekly.

“He is the dad,” says an insider of Arnold Klein, who has not commented. “He and Debbie signed an agreement saying they would never reveal the truth.”

While Debbie Rowe and Michael Jackson never confessed to their kids’ true lineage, she did admit in 2002 that she carried his children as a “personal favor.”

Neither has confirmed that the marriage was ever consummated.

“I said, ‘Let me do this. You need to be a dad. You have been so good to me,’” Rowe – who met Jackson when she was a nurse’s assistant in the 1980s – has said.

News that Michael Jackson is not the biological father of any of his kids surfaced earlier today. Now we’ve learned he never legally adopted them either.

Neither Jackson nor Debbie Rowe are the biological parents of Michael Jr. and Paris. Nor is Michael the biological parent of Prince Michael Jackson II.

Jackson never filed legal papers to adopt any of his children. Legal experts say Jackson would be presumed the father but it’s not conclusive by any means.

As for why Jackson didn’t formally adopt them – some speculate at the time they were born, there was no third party he though would try to claim custody.

Jackson apparently never thought Rowe would mount a custody battle, which wasn’t totally absurd, as she actually tried to give up all rights to them once.

However, the music icon’s death at the age of 50 last Thursday, along with today’s developments, has everyone guessing where the children will end up.

The Bachelorette Spoilers, Recap From Last Night

Last week on The Bachelorette, Jillian Harris nixed Tanner Pope and Jake Pavelka despite rumors that one of the other guys in the house had a girlfriend.

That guy was Wes Hayden, obviously, and while Wes hasn’t admitted to having a girlfriend, he admitted he was on the show for the music not for the girl.

This all came to a head last night in hilariously contrived fashion.

The first four hometown dates – Reid in Philadelphia, Michael in Valencia, Calif., Kiptyn Locke in Encinitas, Calif., and Jesse in Carmel, Calif., seemed rushed, crammed into the first 45 minutes. It eventually became clear why this happened.

Last night’s episode was really about two things alone:

  1. Jake Pavelka returning and confronting Wes Hayden.
  2. The long-predicted return of Ed from Chicago.

Both of these things happened during Jillian Harris’ final hometown date, to visit Wes’ family in Austin, Texas. Upon her arrival, Wes tells Jillian that she’s meeting his family, but she meets his other family – his band – first.

He played his song for her again. It was terrible again.

Then came the return of Jake. Jillian was worried Jake was coming to get her back, but that’s wasn’t the case. He was coming to rat Wes Hayden out.

Jake (left) told Jillian that Wes (right) had a girlfriend named Laurel.

Jillian was visibly upset. Jillian asked Wes Hayden point blank if there was anything he needed to tell her and he said, “no.” Jillian told him what Jake said. Wes claimed that Laurel was an ex-girlfriend that he’s still good friends with.

Jillian brought the guys together to hash it out. Jake said he was going to hold Wes “accountable,” but Wes denied it and Jake was left crying in the hallway.

After the drama, Wes and Jillian went on to meet his family for dinner. That went well. But Jillian had one more surprise before the rose ceremony. It was Ed.

He said he needed to “re-prioritize” and asked for another shot. Jillian was tongue-tied but invited him to the rose ceremony to vie for a rose with the others.

Jillian had four roses and now six guys. Cue dramatic music.

Just how contrived and/or staged were these two developments?

According to reliable sources, while Wes Hayden may be a complete douchebag, he is getting at least partially hosed as far as editing goes. His comments about girlfriends and “tasting” fame are taken largely out of context.

As for the whole scene of Jake confronting Wes about a girlfriend named “Laurel,” it’s not a question of whether this is manufactured, only to what degree.

Jillian Harris: “I can’t handle any more surprises…”

[Knock, knock!]

Why even have her say that line? We are more surprised by the lack of even making it seem like it could real than the fact that it’s not real.

Really guys? Jake in his questionable airline outfit showing up at Jillian’s room to warn her about Wes? Having a camera in his room when she called? Him agreeing to “stick around” if she “needs anything” – like a BS confrontation?

That was bad even by General Hospital standards.

You’ve known this girl for a whole month and yet you’re SO concerned for her well being that you call Tanner Pope to ask if you’re doing the right thing?

Clearly, Jake was somehow coerced into coming back, and that whole scene was a sham. As for whether Laurel exists, or is dating Wes, that is unclear.

However, it seems incredibly unlikely, given the editing, that Wes admitted blatantly to having an exclusive girlfriend while he was filming the show.

As for the return of Ed, that was accurately predicted two weeks ago, and no good reason was offered other than a simple change of heart. Scripted much?

Some interesting news regarding Ed has come to light in the last week or so. The rumors circulating are that a girl that he was dating who believed she was his girlfriend is pretty upset at what has transpired with him on The Bachelorette.

This girl couldn’t get a hold of Ed for a bit when he left for “Texas” (i.e. Spain and Hawaii). An email was sent asking “So I guess we’re seeing other people now” and Ed said “No, I just need to wait until this show is over.”

According to sources, this Chicago girlfriend of Ed’s is apparently under the assumption they are still together and she just has to wait out the show.

Moreover, the girl wants to stay out of the media as she is embarrassed her boyfriend went on a dating show on national TV. Now that would be something.

In any event, it should come as no shock that Wes and Ed ended up getting roses after all of this. They’re the ones bringing in the ratings, after all.

Recipients of roses from Jillian Harris: Reid, Kiptyn, Ed and Wes.

Sacked by Jillian: Michael and Jesse.

The Bachelorette spoilers: Wes goes home next week. Bank on it. Kiptyn Locke has reportedly signed a deal to become the next Bachelor. Stay tuned there.

Susan Boyle to Guest Star on Ugly Betty?

Susan Boyle is on the verge of conquering the singing universe.

Might the acting world be next?

According to various sources, the Britain’s Got Talent sensation will guest star on a fall episode of Ugly Betty. She’d play herself on the ABC hit.

A Burgeoning StarBetty Suarez

“Susan has been bombarded with offers of work in America, but this is something she is really keen on and we hope to make happen,” an insider told Great Britain’s The Sun.

A spokesperson for the Scottish singer won’t confirm or deny the story, simply saying: “Susan has many offers on the table. At the moment she is looking forward to recording her album.”

Perhaps we can help Boyle and ABC reach an agreement, though. What do you think? Aren’t Susan Boyle and Betty Suarez too perfect of a match? Doesn’t this need to happen?

Robert Pattinson: I’m Not Good Looking

If confidence is sexy, then Robert Pattinson may be the ugliest person on the planet.

In a new interview with The Improper, the Twilight star is asked to judge his own looks. His answer would likely shock fans around the globe.

“I never really considered myself attractive,” the actor said. “I was always kind of gangly in school.”

Seriously, folks. Robert Pattinson does not consider himself to be attractive. What’s next? Will Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag say they don’t want publicity?

A Major Cutie

In the Twilight book, Edward Cullen is described as an “unspeakably beautiful Adonis” by his eventual lover, Bella Swan.

Sounds perfect for Pattinson, right? Not so much.

“That’s the reason I didn’t want to go in for the part initially, because it’s really putting yourself out there,” the New Moon star said. “Going in for the audition, I felt like a bit of an idiot. I felt prejudged by anyone who turned up to the casting. I just thought even having the gall to go in means you’re a bit of an arrogant prick.”

As for his sex appeal, Pattinson somehow doesn’t see it.

“Good-looking? Noooo. Before I go out to face a crowd, I stare and stare at myself in the mirror until I have to tell myself to stop staring, since there’s nothing I can do.”

We think we speak for every woman in the world when we say: there’s no need to do anything, Robert. No need at all.

Michael Jackson Not the Biological Father of Any of His Kids; Debbie Rowe Not the Mother Either

The late Michael Jackson was not the biological father of any of his three children.

Moreover, his ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, is actually not the biological mother of the two children she bore for Michael, according to a report on TMZ.

Multiple ources who are deeply connected to the births of Michael Jr., (aka Prince Michael Jackson I), Paris Jackson and Prince Michael Jackson II (aka Blanket) claim Michael was not the sperm donor for the kids.

Nor were Debbie Rowe’s eggs used.

All three children were conceived in vitro, outside the womb.

Debbie Rowe, it turns out, was merely the surrogate, and was compensated well for her services in the births of Michael Jackson Jr. and Paris Jackson.

In the case of Prince Michael Jackson II (Blanket, the youngest), TMZ says the surrogate was never told the identity of the “receiving parent” – Michael Jackson.

Three days after Prince was born at Grossmont Hospital in San Diego County, Jackson’s lawyer came to the hospital to pick the baby up and deliver him to Michael.

It is unclear if Michael Jackson selected the sperm or egg donors or if he even knew anything about who Blanket’s biological parents were.

If neither Michael Jackson or Debbie Rowe is a biological parent, what does that mean for the fate of Prince I, Prince II and Paris now that the King of Pop is gone?

Although Debbie Rowe is not the biological mother, some insiders say it is not a slam dunk that she would lose a custody battle for Michael Jr. and Paris.

Not shockingly, this type of case has never been litigated in California.

Since Rowe was married to Michael Jackson when Michael Jr. and Paris were born, there’s a presumption (in legal terms) that she’s the biological parent.

That presumption can be rebutted by other evidence.

There are apparently documents outlining the whole arrangement for the birth of all three kids. For now, though, it remains an open issue with the courts.

Rowe is said to have tried to contact Jackson’s family since his death Thursday, but sources close to her say she has not actually communicated with them.
