Pee Wee Herman on Leno: Abstinence Rings & More
When you woke up this morning, your first thought probably wasn’t, “I wonder what Pee Wee Herman is up to these days.” If it was, you’ve got issues.
But, lo and behold, the actor otherwise known as Paul Reubens is still around (who knew), and appeared on NBC’s The Jay Leno Show Tuesday night.
Sometimes you get Obama on Letterman, other times you get Pee Wee Herman on Leno. Guess the quality of variety show interviews ebbs and flows.
The first thing he did was show off his new “abstinence ring,” a clear reference to Reubens’ arrest for indecent exposure at an adult theater in 1991.
Pee Wee Herman also talked about his first song recording as a child – “Let’s Get Together” by Hailey Mills. It was even more boring than you think.
While there he made his first ever Tweet on his brand new Twitter account (you can follow THG on Twitter for something a little more worthwhile).
